Job Description

Efficient and accurate inventory movement according to documented processes. Teamwork Main activities: Works cross functionally with all areas of the warehouse. Participates in all environmental, health and safety initiatives and complies with required policies and standards Backfills for Warehouse team members in their absence Actions any other work related instructions given by Warehouse Team Leader at all times. Order processing, packing goods for distribution and Inventory Management. Main activities : Ensure all stock movements are correctly controlled and recorded on Movex + Pick stock strictly as dictated by a pick slip Performs cycle counts/bin verification on the aisle allocated to them and other areas as allocated by the Team Leader Keep bins neat and tidy daily, in preparation for stock count and participate in stock count biannually. Ensure hazardous, high value and scheduled medicine are stored and handled appropriately, as required by relevant SOPs Record, report and remove damaged goods on the bins Report all discrepancies in stock to Team Leader/Stock Controller as soon as they are identified Prevent stock losses due to damages and security breaches by reporting such incidents Returns credit claims to stock as per Team Leader request Actions any other work related instructions given by Team Leader are completed to ensure implementation KPI's Filing is up to date Compliance Main activities Handles inventory according to pickslips and related SOP's Ensure cGMP/GDP and Housekeeping standards are maintained Adheres to safe work procedures and wears PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) as appropriate to task being performed Complies with all housekeeping, safety and GMP regulations and relevant Standard Operating Procedures relevant to their roles Participates in initiatives to ensure that the department does not receive critical findings in an audit Ensure that forklift/Reachtruck licenses remain valid and carry it all times while driving a forklift/Reachtruck Asset Management Main activities: Maintains warehouse infrastructure in a neat and orderly condition. Operates material handling equipment according to the SOPs Maintains equipment in a good condition and report malfunctions timeously to Team Leader Ensures no damages occur due to negligence Reports all damaged stock, any equipment and infrastructure problems to Team Leader Inspect equipment to identify any replacements, malfunctions and repairs Contribute towards a safe working environment and ensure no loss of time, accidents or damage to infrastructure. Pick orders according to the provided picklist, for Dispatching, inhouse production, outsourced warehouse production and other outside warehouse storage. Signs, dates and records the time on all picking slips processed to ensure traceability Checks orders against pickslips and invoice Packs stock for appropriate distribution Requirements (eg Hazardous, cold-chain, Schedule 5, fragile) in the most economical way Ensures goods are handed over to courier for despatch within the prescribed timelines Accurately pick stock as per the pickslips allocated according to the relevant SOPs Confirms pick slips on the ERP system Checks and includes delivery documentation with packed order, number boxes as per consignment on pick slip, write customer name on the goods, invoice and number of boxes/drums outside container visibly Ensure all stock received is correctly and accurately recorded on Manual Goods Receive Voucher. Accurate receiving of delivered stock in line with related Goods Receiving Procedure Complete stock movement documentation accurately.
