Quality Compliance Supervisor

Our leading client in the FMCG manufacturing sector is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Compliance Supervisor to join a dynamic production environment based in Umhlanga. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring compliance with internal quality systems, regulatory requirements, and customer standards while driving continuous improvement initiatives across the business. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate with strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience within a manufacturing or technical environment.

• Monitor and ensure adherence to internal quality systems and regulatory compliance requirements
• Conduct internal audits and assist with external audits, including ISO and client audits
• Maintain accurate quality documentation and records in line with compliance standards
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, SOPs, and work instructions
• Investigate quality incidents, customer complaints, and non-conformances
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective action implementation
• Support and facilitate staff training on quality and compliance procedures
• Track and report on quality metrics, trends, and areas for improvement
• Ensure compliance with legal, safety, environmental, and customer-specific standards
• Assist with sustainability and ethical trading compliance submissions, including SMETA and EcoVadis
• Coordinate compliance-related data collection and reporting processes
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and operational efficiency projects

• Diploma in Operations Management, Compliance, or related field
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a quality assurance or compliance role within a manufacturing or technical environment
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and internal auditing processes preferred
• Experience with CAPA, risk assessments, and document control systems
• Strong understanding of industry-related compliance legislation and regulations

• Strong understanding of quality management systems and compliance standards
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Proficient in MS Office and quality management systems/tools
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure
• Strong administrative and time management skills
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
• Team player with a customer-focused approach
