ICT TECHNICIAN

• Permanent
• Task Grade: 11 (Subject to Job Evaluation results)
• Annual Basic Salary: (R .50 - R .27) excluding benefits
• Position to be stationed in Mthatha, Eastern Cape
• Reports to ICT Network Coordinator

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• ND in Information Technology or equivalent
• 02 years' relevant experience in Information Technology in a public service/ local government environment.
• The below requirements will be considered as added advantage

• ND Information Technology- Business Analysis, information Systems
• Email solution/ Microsoft certificate (Microsoft 365 or Related Technology)
• Backup Systems Certificate
• Security/ Cyber Security Certificate
• Huawei Network Certificate
• Network Cabling Certificate

Key Performance Areas:

• Coordinate activities associated with strategic and operational plans of the sub-section
• Facilitate specific sequences associated with installing, troubleshooting and problem-solving applications
• Facilitate activities associated with operating software and hardware devices
• Contribute to capital and operating estimates and controls expenditure against the approved budget allocations
• Facilitate the administrative and reporting requirements associated with the functionality
• Coordinate stakeholder management and communication of the sub-section
