Project Manager

MRI Software is looking for a Project Manager to join a growing team in our Global Professional Services (GPS) department. The role involves managing multiple customer facing engagements of varying complexity and duration. Based in the Cape Town office, the Project Manager will work in a hybrid model with 3 days working from home per week.

• Successful delivery of multiple concurrent customer facing consulting and technology projects.
• Ensuring quality of delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Customer relationship and expectation management during the engagement lifecycle.
• Provide clear and accurate management reporting and statistics including forecasting imminent invoicing and future income.
• Work closely with the sales teams and have a solid understanding of the sales process.
• Work very closely with the team of consultants to ensure project deliverables are met.
• Work with the operations team to effectively schedule the necessary team members on projects, while recognizing competing demands on these resources.
• Liaise with practice managers and directors on project escalations.
• Manage changes to project scope and schedule effectively.
• Risk management.
• Lead a meeting and portray concepts persuasively.
• Perform necessary administration and day to day tasks.
• Support business process improvements and collaborate with others to deliver.
• Have a strong understanding of the software development lifecycle.

• At least 3+ years of experience in delivering external projects to clients.
• Experience with SaaS implementations (desired).
• Bachelor level degree and PMP Certification or related Project Management Qualification.
• Strong communication skills.
• Advanced Excel proficiency required.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
• Proven ability to work on complex pieces of work to successful outcomes for both employer and customer.
