We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Pricing Manager to join our organisation in a senior capacity. This role sits at the intersection of financial analysis, engineering cost intelligence, and commercial strategy - requiring an individual who can deliver rigorous, defensible pricing positions across a complex portfolio of contracts and projects.
The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in cost modelling, a firm grasp of engineering economics, and the analytical discipline to operate effectively in a fast paced, high stakes environment. They will work closely with technical, commercial, and executive stakeholders to ensure pricing decisions are both competitive and margin protective.
Key Responsibilities- Cost Modeling - Design, develop, and maintain advanced cost models to support bid preparation, contract pricing, and ongoing project financial management.
- Financial Analysis - Conduct thorough analysis of project economics, profitability forecasts, and cost to complete assessments to inform senior decision making.
- Engineering Cost Structures - Collaborate with technical teams to interpret and validate engineering cost drivers, translating complex data into commercially actionable outputs.
- Contract Evaluation - Assess the pricing implications of various contract types - including fixed price, cost plus, and time and materials - advising on risk allocation and commercial terms.
- Modeling & Reporting - Build and maintain sophisticated Excel based financial models, scenario analyses, and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Present pricing strategies, cost analyses, and commercial recommendations with authority and clarity to senior leadership and client facing teams.
- Advanced cost modelling: Proven ability to build and manage complex cost models across multi disciplinary projects.
- Engineering cost structures: Strong understanding of how engineering decisions translate into cost and commercial exposure.
- Contract knowledge: Comprehensive familiarity with contract types and the pricing, risk, and margin implications of each.
- Advanced Excel: Expert level proficiency in financial modelling, scenario analysis, and data automation in Excel.
- Analytical rigor: Highly detail oriented with a structured, methodical approach to numerical analysis and problem solving.
- Commercial acumen: Ability to balance analytical precision with pragmatic business judgment in dynamic commercial settings.
