Planner - Beauty

Umhlanga. A challenging opportunity exists for an experienced, highly numerate and analytical Planner with a passion for beauty, cosmetics or make-up and 4-6 years' experience within an FMCG or Retail Head Office environment, specialising in merchandise planning, stock assortment and sales analysis. • Take full responsibility for stock allocations and optimal stock balancing across stores
• Analyse sales trends and stock performance to drive strategic planning decisions
• Develop and maintain store grading models for accurate allocations
• Manage and update item projections for core and promotional lines
• Create advanced Excel reports and dashboards for management reporting
• Liaise with Beauty Brands to forecast demand and optimise product performance
• Drive monthly sales target achievement through accurate forecasting
• Oversee new store promotions and conduct detailed post-promotion analysis
• Manage store queries and provide data-driven solutions

• Bachelor's Degree (Commerce, Finance, Economics, Logistics or Supply Chain)
• Matric with Higher Grade / Core Mathematics
• 4-6 years' relevant FMCG / Retail planning experience
• Advanced to expert MS Excel skills
• Strong commercial acumen and forecasting ability
• Proven analytical, problem-solving and lateral thinking skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management ability
