Job Description

Babylonstoren is seeking a reliable and efficient Picker & Packer to join our dispatch team. The successful candidate will ensure that customer orders are picked, packed, and dispatched accurately, timeously, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements
  • Previous experience in a warehouse, dispatch, or logistics environment would be advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately pick products from stock according to order sheets.
  • Pack orders securely and correctly, ensuring products are protected and labelled properly.
  • Prepare goods for dispatch, including palletising, wrapping, and loading.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dispatch and storage areas.
  • Conduct quality and quantity checks before dispatch.
  • Fill in traceability sheets accurately.
  • Assist with stock rotation and inventory counts when required.
  • Always follow health and safety procedures.
  • Report any discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly to the Dispatch/Warehouse Manager.
