About the Event: The Cape Town Zombie Walk is a popular annual event where hundreds of creatively dressed zombie enthusiasts take part in a free, family-friendly daytime walk through the city. Following the walk, there is an exclusive 18+ Afterparty held at sunset, featuring music, entertainment, and a lively crowd. We are seeking skilled freelance photographers to cover both parts of this unique event - capturing the energy, costumes, and atmosphere of the walk, as well as the vibe and excitement of the Afterparty.

• Document the daytime Zombie Walk - capturing participants of all ages, group shots, creative costumes, and candid moments.
• Cover the 18+ Afterparty - photographing the party atmosphere, guests, entertainment, and sunset vibes.
• Deliver high-quality, edited digital images for promotional use on our website and social media.

• Capture diverse shots that highlight the spirit and scale of both the walk and the Afterparty
• Work independently and creatively to find compelling images throughout the day and evening
• Coordinate with event organizers to understand priority shots and moments
• Provide edited images within the agreed timeframe after the event

• Proven event photography experience with a strong portfolio
• Own professional camera gear suitable for both daylight and low-light/night photography
• Ability to navigate crowded, dynamic environments
• Professionalism and good communication skills
• Availability for the full event duration (daytime walk + evening Afterparty)
• Must be 18+ to cover the Afterparty
