All functions, duties, and responsibilities of the Executive Assistant
PURPOSE:
To provide executive, administrative, and public relations support to the Group CEO. The Executive Assistant serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on all matters pertaining to the Group CEO.
DEPARTMENT: Corporate Executive
RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assist the CEO with daily administrative duties and perform a broad variety of administrative tasks that include managing calendar appointments; completing expense reports; composing and preparing correspondence; arranging complex and detailed travel plans, itineraries, agendas and compiling documents for meetings.
- Assist other Executives with daily administrative tasks as that of the CEO.
- Communicate with the general staff on the CEO's behalf and coordinate logistics with high level meetings both internally and externally. Coordinate meetings and strategic activities with the Executive Team, Shareholders and the Board.
- Conduct research on prospective corporate initiatives, identify and evaluate current needs and assemble materials needed for the proposals.
- Give regular updates on Industry, community and other developments relevant to the Group.
- Draft reports, letters, and proposals; prepare and coordinate oral and written communication with stakeholders.
- Support the Group CEO in his Industry commitments, engagement with customers and the community on socio-economic development initiatives.
- Manage strictly confidential information.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering environment and exposure to national and global issues will be an added advantage.
- Strong organizational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
- Five to ten years providing support for upper-level management in a related organization.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and other computer applications.
- Proficiency with Syspro and other reporting software applications.
