We are looking for a People Operations Intern who is eager to learn, grow, and gain practical experience in Human Resources and hospitality workforce operations. This internship is designed to provide hands on experience in Human Resources, employee lifecycle management, and hospitality workforce operations.
- Assist with job postings and managing candidate applications.
- Schedule interviews with candidates and hiring managers.
- Assist with employment contracts and new starter documentation.
- Assist with onboarding administration and employee file setup.
- Support induction and training coordination.
- Maintain employee files and HR records.
- Assist with updating employee information on HR and payroll systems.
- Track probation reviews and performance review documentation.
- Assist with HR trackers, reports, and employee data administration.
- Assist with scheduling training and policy training sessions.
- Maintain training registers and training records.
- Assist with Skills Matrix and training documentation.
- Support probation review administration.
- Assist with timesheet and attendance administration.
- Assist with leave tracking and leave administration.
- Support payroll preparation administration and reporting.
- Assist with workforce data and reporting administration.
- Assist with preparing disciplinary documentation.
- Assist with corrective counselling and warning documentation.
- Maintain disciplinary records and documentation.
- Provide administrative support during disciplinary processes.
- Assist with HR projects and policy rollouts.
- Assist with employee engagement and culture initiatives.
- Assist with HR reporting and workforce analytics.
- Provide general administrative support to the People Operations department.
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Psychology, OR Business Administration
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Good communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Proficient in Google Workspace / Microsoft Office
- Strong willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Own vehicle and valid driver's license advantageous (travel between properties may be required)
