Pecan Quality & Inventory Coordinator (Travel)
Job Description
My Client is looking for a reliable and responsible candidate to act as a Pecan Product Coordinator in Upington and surrounding areas.
The successful candidate must have their own transport and be willing to travel regularly between Upington and other surrounding areas in the Northern Cape. The position involves evaluating pecan quality on producers' farms, as well as conducting sample grading according to prescribed standards.
The candidate will be responsible for inventory control and monitoring, as well as coordinating the loading and unloading of inventory at various intake points. Furthermore, the person must also be able to conduct sample grading within a pecan processing plant.
Requirements- Grade 12 +1 year experience in the pecan industry
- Tertiary qualification is advantageous but not mandatory
- Code 10 license is advantageous but not mandatory
- Own reliable transport
- Willingness to travel
- Good organizational and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and accurately
- Experience in pecan cultivar differentiation
