About the RolePlayroll is looking for a dynamic, impact-driven Operations Manager to join our Payroll Operations team. You'll help ensure smooth, accurate payroll execution for our global client base across 100+ countries, reporting into the Senior Operations Manager: Payroll. You'll own end-to-end payroll operations, making sure everything is accurate, compliant, and efficient across complex, fast-changing global payroll regulations. This is hands on work where precision matters, and where you'll be constantly solving problems and improving how things run. Responsibilities- Oversee and coordinate end-to-end payroll processing, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across multiple international territories.
- Resolve payroll related requests and queries promptly, ensuring timely and effective outcomes for employees and stakeholders.
- Manage and communicate with internal and external stakeholders across jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to agreed SLAs.
- Support and lead process improvements and automation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in payroll operations.
- Deliver high impact, deadline driven projects while maintaining strong execution under pressure and shifting priorities.
- Perform additional operational tasks as required to support the evolving needs of the business.
- Relevant tertiary level qualification.
- 2-5 years of operational experience.
- Prior experience in global payroll or a start up environment is advantageous.
- Excellent high school and/or university results.
