Payroll Consultant

ADP South Africa is hiring a Payroll Specialist to provide contracted human resource services, specifically payroll processing for various clients. The role requires ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and maintaining client relationships to support recurring business.

• Processing payrolls, including preparation, interpreting statutory changes, and maintaining the payroll system.
• Ensuring compliance by improving internal systems, implementing best practices, and mitigating risks.
• Contributing to financial performance by delivering a positive customer experience.
• Building and maintaining client relationships with respect and professionalism.

• A diploma or degree in commerce, human resources, or a related field.
• 3 5 years of payroll experience or HRIS experience with payroll systems such as Sage300 and/or Premier.

• Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of South African payroll tax and labour legislation.

• Ability to work independently and take ownership of tasks.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Experience in a payroll outsourcing environment.
• Knowledge of payroll tax legislation in other African countries.
