Part-time Property Development Operations Consultant
Job Description
A developer establishing a Development Hub to support affordable housing and regional property development projects is seeking an experienced Property Development Operations Consultant to join on an independent consultant basis, working fully remotely for approximately 6 hours per day. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience in residential and/or affordable housing developments. This role will focus on supporting the structuring and operational execution of development initiatives, including the rollout of mini headquarters and scalable regional hubs. This is not a corporate executive position. We are specifically looking for someone experienced, practical, and execution driven, with the ability to implement and manage processes on the ground.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in feasibility review and development structuring
- Support project flow from land acquisition approvals construction sales
- Assist with municipal processes and compliance coordination
- Develop operational workflows for development roll outs
- Work with finance, legal, and construction stakeholders
- Support mini headquarters / regional hub setup models
- Provide strategic operational input scaling framework
- Grade 12
- 5+ years' exposure to property development (residential / sectional title / affordable housing preferred)
- Practical understanding of feasibility models and development costing
- Understanding of South African development processes
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and strategically
