Overview

This is a key role within our client's business to be responsible for effectively managing the intake of paper and other related raw materials to equip Production to produce the on time delivery of products in full to the customer.

Responsibilities
  • Responsibility for ensuring that all materials required to meet the production schedule are met and available on time and in full.
  • Provide effective control of delivery to schedule, controlling stocks of own paper and customer supplied paper.
  • Co ordinate and monitor paper intake and distribution.
  • Co ordinate paper returns with Purchasing.
  • Responsible for the effective control and management of waste in order to reduce costs.
  • Provide regular analysis of conditions in and around paper stores.
  • Ensure maximum potential output and quality is achieved by minimising delays.
  • Ensure through effective training that paper damage is minimised.
  • Responsible for managing all Paper Quality related issues.
