Operations Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee daily cargo operations, manage staff and resources, ensure compliance, and maintain efficient freight movement within a busy air cargo environment.

• Certificate in Supply Chain Management (NQF Level 5)
• Valid Code 10 Driver's Licence
• Minimum 5 years' experience in cargo, logistics or warehouse operations
• Minimum 3 years' management experience
• Experience handling HR and IR matters
• Knowledge of health & safety and regulatory compliance
• Willing to work abnormal hours when required
• Computer literate

• Manage and oversee daily cargo and warehouse operations
• Allocate staff and resources to ensure smooth workflow

• Handle disciplinary and IR-related matters when required
• Monitor vehicles, equipment and operational resources
• Conduct audits, incident reporting and corrective actions
• Ensure accurate cargo processing, planning, manifesting and billing
• Manage customer and supplier relationships
• Resolve operational issues and improve service delivery
• Maintain on-time performance and support business objectives
