Night Quality Coordinator

There is a vacancy for a Night Quality Coordinator at Wards Nursing Overheads, Life The Glynnwood, reporting to Sophle Sibisi, Nurse Manager Senior. The successful candidate will coordinate and lead the provision of quality patient care during the night in support of hospital and nursing objectives of quality, growth and people.

• Communicating, supporting, coaching and monitoring night staff to ensure a safe patient and staff environment.
• Identifying clinical competence and addressing concerns with the line manager.
• Participating and leading quality projects to support a culture of quality.
• Ensuring adequate staff allocations.
• Understanding stock management processes to achieve unit targets.
• Effectively managing unplanned events to ensure optimal resource utilization.
• Providing direction and inspiring positive work behaviour to keep staff motivated and productive.
• Displaying visible leadership to night staff and management to ensure productive teamwork.
• Participating in meetings to maintain meaningful relationships with external stakeholders.

• Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
• Registered with SANC.
• Management experience will be an advantage.
