SummaryWe are seeking an experienced and driven Multi Disciplinary Project Manager to join our Cape Town office and support the successful delivery of renewable energy projects across a growing project portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects through all phases of the project lifecycle, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, engaging with clients and stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
This role requires a strong understanding of infrastructure and energy project delivery, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously within a fast paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities Project Management- Manage renewable energy projects from initiation through planning, execution, monitoring, and close out
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering and specialist teams to ensure integrated project delivery
- Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, cash flow forecasts, and resource plans
- Monitor project performance and proactively identify and mitigate risks and challenges
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards, client expectations, and contractual requirements
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and project stakeholders
- Facilitate project meetings, progress reviews, and reporting processes
- Maintain strong client relationships and support business development opportunities
- Coordinate communication between technical teams, clients, authorities, and external stakeholders
- Assist with contract management and administration activities
- Monitor project financial performance and support commercial decision making
- Manage scope changes, variations, and project reporting requirements
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and project governance procedures
- Support and coordinate multidisciplinary technical teams across multiple projects
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and high performance project delivery
- Mentor junior project staff where required
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and project management best practices
- BEng / BSc / Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
- Professionally Registered Engineer (Pr.Eng) or PMP
- Minimum of 5-10 years' relevant project management experience
- Proven experience managing multidisciplinary infrastructure or energy related projects
- Strong understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and reporting processes
- Experience managing project schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and stakeholder engagement
- Excellent communication, coordination, and leadership skills
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel when
- Experience in renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, battery energy storage, or related infrastructure
