  • Develop and manage a strong sales pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and converting new business opportunities.
  • Own customer relationships across the sales cycle, from initial engagement through proposal, commercial close, and handover to delivery teams.
  • Lead consultative sales engagements, positioning APEX solutions based on customer operational, financial, and reliability requirements.
  • Provide pre-sales technical input including high-level system design, solution scoping, and control philosophy discussions in collaboration with HQ.
  • Engage with consultants, EPCs, system integrators, and end users to influence specifications and project outcomes in favour of APEX.
  • Support tender and bid processes with both commercial and technical input, including presentations and clarifications.
  • Collaborate closely with APEX HQ, engineering, and commissioning teams to ensure solutions sold are deliverable and scalable.
  • Execute against monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets as agreed with the Apex commercial Head.
  • Represent APEX at customer meetings, industry events, and partner engagements to grow brand presence and trust in the region.
  • Continuously identify new market segments, use cases, and applications for APEX solutions to support regional expansion.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity tracking, and customer records within APEX CRM systems.
Commission and Incentives
  • Competitive base salary with performance-linked commission.
  • Commission tied to closed deals and regional growth.
  • Opportunity to grow earnings as the APEX footprint scales.
Min Role Requirements
  • Matric / NQF4 minimum.
  • Relevant technical or commercial qualifications are advantageous. (Eg: Electrical, electronic or renewable energy)
  • 5 years' experience in B2B sales within the energy, power systems, or electrical sector.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver's licence; willing to travel across greater Gauteng and into SADC markets as required.
  • Future growth opportunities to regions such as: KZN, Free State and into SADC markets as required.

If you enjoy building markets, selling technically credible solutions, and being part of a team scaling real energy infrastructure across Southern Africa, we'd like to hear from you.
