Job Description
The Group Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, franchisee sales growth, and long-term brand equity across the Sorbet portfolio. The role also leads the management and growth of the Sorbet loyalty programme and ensures strategic alignment with Clicks to maximise customer acquisition, brand equity and shared commercial opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Brand Strategy & Positioning- Develop and implement the overall Sorbet brand strategy
- Ensure consistent brand identity across all customer touchpoints
- Drive brand differentiation in the beauty, grooming and wellness category
- Strengthen brand equity through strategic partnerships and collaborations
- Align brand messaging with key business partners
- Lead the annual marketing calendar aligned to strategic and commercial objectives
- Develop integrated campaigns (ATL, BTL, digital, in-store, PR)
- Manage seasonal promotions and tactical sales initiatives
- Oversee creative development and agency deliverables
- Own the strategy, development and growth of the Sorbet loyalty programme
- Drive customer acquisition through loyalty-led initiatives
- Increase member engagement, frequency and spend
- Develop targeted campaigns leveraging customer data and insights
- Track loyalty performance metrics and optimise programme effectiveness
- Partner with operations and franchisees to embed loyalty in-store execution
- Identify opportunities to enhance customer lifetime value
- Drive marketing alignment with Clicks to enhance brand equity and awareness
- Develop joint customer acquisition initiatives leveraging Clicks database
- Identify cross-promotional opportunities between Sorbet and Clicks
- Drive Clicks ClubCard usage through loyalty programme mechanics
- Partner on key campaigns, launches and promotional activity
- Leverage Clicks media channels and footprint to drive traffic to Sorbet stores
- Partner with franchisees to drive local store marketing initiatives
- Provide toolkits and guidelines for consistent execution
- Support new stores and revamp store openings
- Monitor franchise marketing compliance with brand standards
- Drive digital marketing strategy including paid media, social and CRM
- Grow customer database and loyalty engagement
- Optimize customer acquisition and retention initiatives
- Oversee website and e-commerce marketing (when applicable)
- Develop in-store communication and point-of-sale material
- Partner with operations to drive footfall and conversion
- Work closely with Services to support treatment and retail promotions together with new innovation launches
- Align marketing activity with operational capacity and utilisation
- Identify strategic brand partnerships and collaborations
- Manage PR and influencer strategy
- Drive brand visibility through events and activations
- Build relationships with key media stakeholders
- Manage and allocate group marketing budget
- Track ROI and effectiveness of marketing spend
- Ensure cost-effective delivery of campaigns
- Provide monthly budget reporting and reporting aligned to CPA requirements
- Track campaign performance against KPIs
- Analyse customer insights and market trends
- Provide franchise network performance reporting
- Use data to refine and improve marketing effectiveness
- Strong, consistent Sorbet brand presence

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
- 5-8 years marketing experience (retail, beauty or franchise preferred)
