Marketing Coordinator - Email & Marketing Automation (UK Hours)
Job Description
As a Marketing Coordinator specializing in Email and Marketing Automation within our Global Delivery Center (GDC), you will be responsible for the hands on execution of email campaigns and automation programs using Pardot on behalf of our regional marketing teams. You will work within established strategies and under the guidance of experienced marketers, developing deep expertise in email marketing execution and marketing automation while playing an important role in supporting pipeline generation and customer engagement across the business. This role will adhere to UK working hours, Monday to Friday. We operate a hybrid working model with 3 days of working from home per week. The position is based in the Cape Town office.
Responsibilities- Build, test, and deploy email campaigns within Pardot in line with campaign briefs, brand guidelines, and regional team requirements - ensuring accurate list targeting, correct scheduling and thorough pre send quality checks.
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of automated nurture programs within Pardot (including engagement studio builds, trigger configuration and logic checks) ensuring programs run accurately and in line with intended audience journeys.
- Work with data and enrichment teams to ensure email lists are accurate, correctly segmented and properly formatted for import and use within Pardot - maintaining clean, compliant audience data at all times.
- Conduct thorough pre send checks across all email builds including rendering across devices and email clients, link and UTM tracking verification, personalization token testing and suppression list application.
- Track and compile performance data for email campaigns and automation programs (including open rates, click through rates, unsubscribe rates and conversion metrics) and present findings clearly to regional stakeholders.
- Support the maintenance of email templates within Pardot, ensuring they remain on brand, up to date and correctly structured for use across campaign types.
- Maintain accurate folder structures, naming conventions and organizational standards within Pardot to ensure clean, consistent account hygiene across all campaign assets.
- Provide clear and timely updates to regional marketing teams on campaign status, flagging any issues or delays and escalating where appropriate to your team lead.
- Follow established GDC workflows for email campaign intake, execution and reporting, and contribute to their ongoing improvement by flagging recurring issues or inefficiencies to your team lead.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business or a related field.
- Up to 2 years of experience in an email marketing, marketing automation or marketing coordination role.
- Hands on experience with Pardot (Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) - familiarity with any email marketing or automation platform will be considered.
- Understanding of email marketing best practices including deliverability, segmentation and compliance (e.g. GDPR, CAN SPAM).
- Strong attention to detail, particularly around email QA, link checking and pre send testing.
- Comfortable working with data - list formatting, basic performance metrics and campaign reporting.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across remote and cross functional teams.
- Organized and reliable with the ability to manage multiple active campaigns simultaneously.
- Experience in the B2B or software/technology sector (advantage).
