Job Description
Key Output 
- Include all relevant safety documentation as prescribed by customer, Barloworld Equipment, and statutory regulations in the "service pack" documents.
- Planning of all planned maintenance interventions on site - these include weekly, monthly, and quarterly maintenance plans and obtain customer approval for implementation.
- Managing all part and component requirements to complete repair and maintenance interventions.
- Managing the on-site backlog management system, backlog store and backlog Key Performance Indicators (KPI's).
- Analyse and distribute weekly and monthly site fleet performance KPI's and relevant condition monitoring reports to key stakeholders to determine corrective actions required to improve and sustain performance. This includes weekly fleet performance reports, top 10 downtime report, Analyzer financial reports and condition monitoring reports. These activities have long term contractual implications.
- Managing on site WIP, work order closing, and work order history.
- Facilitate and coordinate of reviewing and updating the long-term plan (component replacement schedule) every quarter.
- Incorporate corrective and predictive maintenance activities into the plan based on input from the Condition Monitors.
- Lead and manage the MARC support department on site.
- Develop and implement the formalized on-site planning department strategy that is aligned with the overall Maintenance and repair strategy for the MARC Fleet.
- Work with the customer, site personnel and Barloworld Equipment support areas to ensure effective execution of the planning section maintenance and repair strategy.
- Directly contribute to the long-term profitability and sustainability of the MARC.
- Oversee, facilitate, and coordinate a fragmented planning department on site for GGV (using different planning systems, supply chain systems, storage locations and transportation) for all the planned maintenance and repair interventions on site.
- Ensuring that the supervisors execute the maintenance activities as per weekly plan.
- Facilitation and coordination of reviewing and updating the long-term plan (component replacement schedule) every quarter.
- Obtaining input from the condition monitoring department regarding component health.
- Updating the long-term plan.
- Obtain approval from the customer to implement the plan.
- Matric or Equivalent
- Trade certificate (Diesel or Earthmoving Mechanic).
- 10 years 0f technical experience after trade test.
- Engineering and Project Management Diploma an added advantage.
- Planning and scheduling certificate an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Safety and MHSA requirements.
- 3 years' experience managing a Team.
- Must have AMT and MARC process knowledge.
- SAP CRM processes and SAP super user knowledge an added advantage.

- Exposure to business planning / budgeting processes.
