Job Description
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve long-term business goals.
  • Utilisation of existing B2B and B2C networks and focus on driving business development within these two sectors.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient functioning of the organisation.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and regulatory bodies.
  • Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and improving existing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead and inspire a high-performing leadership team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to optimise profitability.
  • Represent the organisation at industry events and forums, enhancing its reputation and visibility.
The Successful Applicant

A successful Managing Director should have:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration or Engineering and an MBA.
  • Overall 15-20 years of experience with at at least 10 years of sales experience, with a significant portion in senior leadership roles.
  • Experience in both B2B and B2C business.
  • A strong background in the automotive, capital equipment or retail industry with a track record of leadership and strategic planning.
  • Demonstrated stable double digit revenue growth in previous roles.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A solid understanding of financial management and business performance metrics.
  • Experience driving, supporting and growing a customer and dealer channel operation
  • M&A experience is an added advantage
  • Experience working with an overseas MNC is an added advantage.
  • Inspirational leadership and interpersonal skills.
