We looking for aMaintenance Assistant M/F based :South Africa
To provide ongoing maintenance support to enable a safe, efficient and functional working environment
Minimum Qualification- Grade 12
- EXPERIENCE
- 2-3 years' experience in maintenance or a related field
- Basic knowledge of safety regulations and ISO standards
- Technical or vocational training in one or more maintenance-related field
- Additional certifications in plumbing, painting, or other relevant areas would be advantageous
- Good understanding of general maintenance tasks and techniques, e.g. painting, carpentry, and repairs.
- Understanding of basic plumbing systems and ability to perform minor plumbing repairs or maintenance tasks.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and ISO standards to ensure compliance and promote a safe working environment.
- Code B driver's licence for tasks such as transporting materials or equipment would be advantageous.
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word).
- Able to lift heavy objects and do other labour-intensive tasks.
- Able to notice and address small maintenance issues and ensure tasks are completed accurately and thoroughly.
- Prioritises tasks, manage time effectively, and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure efficiency and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrates effective communication skills to convey maintenance needs, collaborate with team members, and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Able to work collaboratively with colleagues, assist team members as needed, and contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Results oriented with a focus on achieving maintenance objectives, addressing defects promptly, and ensuring the quality and completeness of maintenance tasks.
- Learning agility (open to feedback and motivated to learn).
