Job Description

Responsibilities & Requirements
  • Trade Test Certificate as a Machinist (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 3-5 years' machining experience (mining/engineering environment advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of lathe, milling, and grinding machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with precision.
  • Commitment to quality control and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Operate and maintain conventional and CNC machines to produce high-quality mining components.
  • Manufacture, repair, and refurbish parts according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Conduct precision measurements to ensure strict adherence to quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with engineers, technicians, and artisans to support rebuilding and repair projects.
  • Uphold workplace safety, housekeeping, and Buraaq's Zero Harm Vision.
  • Assist in innovation and R&D efforts to improve processes and develop local manufacturing capabilities.
  • Medically fit.
  • Own transport.
