Adherence to policies and procedures is non negotiable. Being part of a team entails additional duties beyond operating machinery. 1 Operate machines according to Standard Operating Procedures2 Adhere to safety instructions and procedures3 Adjust machines according to running requirements4 Maintain supply of packaging material for a quick change-over5 Load relevant programs for products.6 Adjust machine for optimal performance7 Complete required quality and production control forms8 Change parts on machines as necessary for different products9 Ensure correct packaging is used10 Continuously observe machine functions with respect to Seal integrity, film quality,11 Adhere to PPE standards12 Liaise with quality department on quality issues13 Liaise with maintenance department on mechanical issues14 Ensure correct information regarding downtime, machine operation, Packaging usage, waste and machine stoppages is noted for further processing.15 Keep machines clean16 Keep area surrounding machines clean17 Identify, Raise and assist in closing potential safety risks and observations18 Adhere to food safety policies19 Generate ideas to improve performance.Job Requirements National senior certificate (Matric)Must be medically fitMinimum 1 - 2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment; experience in FMCG, food processing, or packaging industry is an advantage.
