Junior/Trainee Packaging Technologist

We are looking for a Junior/Trainee Packaging Technologist to join our Own Label team. The role involves interaction with all product buying areas and both packaging and product suppliers, and includes travel within Europe.

Responsibilities
  • Support product launches by specifying materials, suppliers, and obtaining all necessary sizes for design and artwork.
  • Interact with product buying teams, packaging suppliers, and other stakeholders across the business.
  • Travel within Europe as required for site visits and supplier meetings.
  • Be hands on, deliberate and articulate in daily work.
  • Organise and plan projects efficiently.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of packaging solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Experience in artwork or packaging is beneficial but not essential.
  • Strong organisational and project planning skills.
  • Excellent communication with individuals at all levels of the company.
  • Proactive and self motivated attitude towards learning and improvement.
  • Willingness to be trained and supported to qualify as a Packaging Technologist.
