We are looking for a Junior Sous to join this brilliant restaurant kitchen team working with one of the loveliest teams around for this gorgeous restaurant in North London.
The restaurant has a wonderful origin story and we are a bit invested in it over here at Home HQ. We want to find someone truly passionate about food and still excited by the idea of supporting their team to deliver consistent high quality, seasonal and delicious food. It will be a chilled, calm and an open kitchen, in both senses.
Responsibilities- Assist the Head Chef in planning, preparing and cooking high quality seasonal dishes.
- Support the kitchen team to maintain consistency, quality and presentation.
- Help manage food inventory and minimise waste.
- Contribute creative ideas while adhering to the restaurant's style.
- Maintain a clean and organised kitchen.
- Collaborate with front of house staff to ensure smooth service.
This is a 48 hour per week role. The restaurant is closed on Mondays, open for lunch Friday-Sunday and dinner Tuesday-Sunday, so you'll get a nice mix of shifts from Tuesday-Sunday.
