A client of ours within the Engineering Consulting sector is looking for a qualified Civil Engineer and is interested in learning to become an Engineer Underwriter to join their team. Training will be provided

Requirements
  • Bachelor in Civil Engineering
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience
  • Strong ability to interpret data, assess technical risks, and use rating tools
Responsibilities
  • Assesses, prices, and accepts risk for technical insurance policies covering construction projects, machinery, and equipment.
  • Evaluate engineering risks for new business and renewals, including technical specs for machinery, construction projects, and specialized equipment
  • Conduct site surveys or reviews to evaluate risk quality
