IT Support / IT Operations Engineer
Job Description
At Austell, reliable IT operations are critical to keeping the business running. We're looking for an IT Support / IT Operations Engineer who understands core IT infrastructure, can work effectively with ticket-based support, and responds quickly and calmly during incidents.
This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career who wants exposure across end-user support, infrastructure, cloud (Azure), and incident response in a real business environment.
- Managing and resolving IT support tickets (onsite and remote)
- Providing first- and second-line IT support to users
- Supporting laptops, desktops, networks, and cloud-based systems
- Assisting with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
- Managing user access via Active Directory / Azure AD
- Responding to IT incidents and outages with speed of execution
- Escalating and coordinating with vendors or senior engineers when required
- Documenting issues, fixes, and procedures clearly
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
- Equivalent hands on experience will be considered
- Have 1-4 years experience in IT support, IT operations, or infrastructure support
- Are comfortable working in a ticketing / ITSM environment
- Understand IT infrastructure fundamentals (endpoints, networks, access)
- Have exposure to Microsoft Azure and cloud-based services
- Can stay calm, structured, and effective during high pressure incidents
- Take ownership of issues and follow them through to resolution
