ABOUT THIS ROLE

Are you a customer-focused Internal Sales professional with strong technical Cabinetry understanding or hardware understanding and a passion for service excellence?

A reputable and well-established organisation is seeking an Internal Sales Consultant to join their Cape Town branch. This role plays a key part in supporting customers, processing orders, coordinating internally, and ensuring seamless day-to-day sales operations.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with customers, understands technical products, and thrives in a structured, fast-paced sales environment.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Sales Support & Customer Service
  • Handle incoming sales enquiries via phone, email and walk-in clients
  • Provide product information, technical guidance, stock availability, pricing and quotations
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships (retailers, installers, manufacturers)
  • Follow up on outstanding quotations and convert leads into sales
  • Maintain showroom presentation standards
Order Processing & Administration
  • Capture and process customer orders accurately on the internal system
  • Track order progress, deliveries and back orders
  • Assist with sales reports, documentation and customer records
  • Liaise with Admin regarding EFT and credit card payments
Product Knowledge & Technical Assistance
  • Develop strong product knowledge and stay up to date with product developments
  • Guide customers in selecting correct fittings and solutions
  • Provide after-sales support and resolve queries
  • Assist with product installation guidance where required
Internal Coordination
  • Liaise with warehouse, logistics and external sales teams
  • Support promotions, product launches and sales events
  • Attend sales meetings and take ownership of allocated tasks
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  • Matric
  • Proven experience in internal sales or customer service
  • Cabinetry or hardware experience advantageous
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Technical aptitude and ability to understand product specifications
  • MS Office proficiency
  • ERP system experience (SAP advantageous)
  • High attention to detail and customer-centric mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
