Job Description

Purpose
  • To manage the receiving of all grains (Wheat) and manage the material movement in and out of the Silos through the implementation of controls, recording and reporting to ensure controls are maintained in all intake operations and related functions/procedures relating to business on site in order to mitigate risks
Responsibilities
  • Receiving of all Raw Grains on to the mill site including
  • Communicate with Grain Procurement team (Head Office)
  • Checking all consignment documents
  • Sampling and Grading the grain
  • Weighbridge operation-AGRIS
  • Silo Allocation
  • Grain Movement management (In and out of the Silos)
  • Grain Transfer records from Silo to the mill
  • Daily stock take and analysis
  • Compiling of all required reports within set deadlines
  • Managing the labour cost of the department
  • Setting adjustments and maintenance of all receiving equipment.
  • Managing of budget
  • Managing of fumigants and stock control
  • Implement and manage hygiene and housekeeping according to site requirements
