Job Description

INSTITUTIONAL AND SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER (ISD)

  • Permanent
  • Task Grade: 11 (Subject to Job Evaluation Results)
  • Annual Basic Salary: (R ,50 - R ,27) excluding benefits
  • Position to be stationed in Mthatha, Eastern Cape
  • Reports to Project Manager

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Matric
  • National Diploma in Public Management
  • Code EB driving license
  • 02 years' relevant experience in local government.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Identifies and defines the immediate and short-term plans associated with the sub-section to support service delivery
  • Coordinates social facilitation activities for project implementation
  • Controls activities associated with training and development of people including project steering committees
  • Coordinates activities associated with establishment of community development structures
  • Renders professional advice and support with respect to core service delivery related projects
  • Circulate functional and operational informational and long-term objectives and current developments, problems and constraints
