Head of Compliance

A rapidly expanding iGaming and Sports Betting operator is seeking an experienced Head of Compliance to lead regulatory strategy, governance, and compliance operations across a multi-jurisdictional environment.

This role sits at the strategic centre of the organisation, ensuring the business operates with the highest standards of regulatory integrity, responsible gambling oversight, and operational compliance while supporting continued expansion into new markets.

As Head of Compliance, you will be responsible for building, leading, and continuously strengthening the compliance framework across licensing, AML, regulatory reporting, internal controls, and responsible gambling. You will act as the primary regulatory liaison, ensuring the organisation remains audit-ready, operationally compliant, and positioned for growth across multiple jurisdictions.

Lead the organisations overall compliance strategy across iGaming and Sports Betting operations

Act as the primary contact with regulators, licensing authorities, and compliance partners

Oversee AML, KYC, Responsible Gambling, and regulatory reporting frameworks

Ensure ongoing adherence to licence conditions, internal control procedures, and regulatory obligations

Design, implement, and maintain compliance monitoring programmes, risk assessments, and control frameworks

Provide regulatory guidance to executive leadership and operational teams on new market entry and licensing requirements

Lead internal and external audits, ensuring remediation plans are implemented where required

Develop and deliver compliance training programmes across the organisation

Build and lead a high-performing compliance and regulatory operations team

Monitor regulatory changes across jurisdictions and proactively adapt internal policies and procedures

Significant experience in a senior compliance leadership role within iGaming, Sports Betting, Payments, or regulated financial services

Strong knowledge of AML, KYC, Responsible Gambling, and regulatory licensing frameworks

Experience operating across multi-jurisdictional regulated environments

Proven ability to lead regulator engagement, audits, and licensing processes

Strong risk management, governance, and regulatory advisory expertise

Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leadership

Relevant compliance, legal, or risk qualifications advantageous

Executive-level compliance leadership within a high-growth international operator
