About the RoleWe are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented HCM Implementation Consultant to join a growing and dynamic technology and transformation team. This role offers the opportunity to work on global projects, supporting organisations in transforming their Human Capital Management (HCM) processes through leading technology solutions. In this role, you will contribute to Workday implementation projects across the full lifecycle-from design through to deployment. Working in a collaborative team environment, you will help translate business requirements into scalable system solutions while supporting the delivery of high-quality client outcomes.
Responsibilities- Workday Implementation Delivery
- Contribute to and/or lead defined workstreams on client-facing Workday implementation projects
- Support one or more functional HCM areas from design through to deployment
- Configure HCM modules under the guidance of senior team members
- Requirements Gathering & Solution Design
- Participate in workshops to gather and analyse business requirements
- Translate business needs into effective and scalable system configurations
- Support the management of ticket queues and issue resolution
- Process & Data Understanding
- Develop an understanding of end-to-end HCM processes and data flows
- Assist in ensuring solutions are efficient, scalable, and aligned to business needs
- Support data migration activities by gathering and validating data requirements
- Testing & Quality Assurance
- Assist with unit testing, end-to-end testing, and regression testing
- Ensure system configurations meet quality standards and project timelines
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work closely with HR and HCM transformation teams to deliver value-driven solutions
- Collaborate with wider teams to identify innovative approaches and improvements
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and knowledge sharing
- Experience with HCM systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, or similar)
- Workday HCM Core Services Certification or Workday HCM Pro (advantageous, not essential)
- Additional Workday certifications (e.g. Payroll, Absence, Time Tracking, Compensation) are beneficial
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in HCM systems implementation or support
- Understanding of end-to-end HCM business processes and data flows
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and presentation abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Proactive, self-starter mindset with a willingness to learn
- Innovative thinker with an openness to new ideas and solutions
- Office-based during the initial training period
- Transition to a hybrid working model thereafter (subject to business and client requirements)
