Graduate Trainee: Procurement

TWK Agri, with its Head Office in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga, is seeking dynamic and self motivated 2024/2025 graduates to apply for a Graduate position within the Procurement Department.

This opportunity is suited to graduates with the relevant procurement, supply chain, or business related qualifications, who are eager to learn and develop within TWK Agri's trade and agricultural operating environment.

The successful candidate will be placed within the Trade Division, Procurement Department, based on operational requirements and the graduate's qualification background. The graduate will be exposed to the procurement function that supports the Trade Division, gaining hands on experience in sourcing, purchasing processes, supplier interaction, and internal coordination. The role is designed to develop a solid understanding of procurement practices within a structured agricultural and retail trade environment. The position requires a willingness to learn, adapt, and grow within TWK Agri's systems, processes, and operational standards.

• Assisting with procurement and purchasing activities within the Trade Division
• Supporting the sourcing of goods and services in line with approved procurement processes
• Assisting with supplier communication, price comparisons, and order administration
• Capturing and maintaining purchasing, supplier, and stock related information on relevant systems
• Supporting coordination between Procurement, Retail branches, and internal departments
• Assisting with monitoring delivery schedules and resolving basic procurement queries
• Supporting procurement reporting, record keeping, and compliance requirements
• Gaining exposure to procurement policies, cost control, and supply chain principles
• Providing general administrative and operational support to the Procurement team

• Matric / Grade 12
• A University Degree obtained in 2024 or 2025 in a relevant field (e.g. Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related)
• Strong willingness to learn and develop within TWK Agri's trade and agricultural environment
• Basic understanding of procurement, purchasing, or supply chain principles
• Strong computer literacy, particularly MS Excel and MS Word
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
