Graduate Trainee: Enterprise Development

TWK Agri, with its head office in Piet Retief, Mpumalanga, is seeking dynamic and self motivated 2024/2025 graduates to apply for a Graduate position within our Enterprise Development Department. This exciting opportunity allows recent graduates to gain valuable work experience in the Insurance field while working within a reputable company.

The successful candidate will be placed within the ED department in Piet Retief based on operational requirements and graduate qualification backgrounds. The role will provide exposure to the department's work in supporting emerging farmers, enterprise development initiatives, and community based programmes.

The graduate will be exposed to a variety of operational and administrative activities, enabling the development of essential workplace, financial, and reporting skills through structured training and mentorship as part of the Graduate Placement Programme.

• Assisting with Enterprise Development and emerging farmer support initiatives
• Supporting the coordination and administration of enterprise and community development programmes
• Assisting with stakeholder engagement, including interaction with emerging farmers, community representatives, and internal departments
• Capturing, maintaining, and updating beneficiary, project, and programme records
• Assisting with basic financial administration related to Enterprise Development initiatives
• Capturing and tracking basic financial information, expenditure, and supporting budget monitoring
• Assisting with the preparation of basic reports, summaries, and supporting documentation
• Supporting monitoring, reporting, and compliance requirements linked to development initiatives
• Assisting with research, data analysis, and preparation of reports and presentations
• Providing general administrative and operational support to the Enterprise Development team
• Participating in structured training, mentorship, and assessments as part of the graduate programme

• Matric / Grade 12
• A University Degree obtained in 2024 or 2025 in a relevant field (e.g. Agriculture, Agribusiness, Economics, Development Studies, Rural Development or related)
• Strong computer literacy, particularly MS Excel and MS Word
• Good attention to detail, professionalism, and willingness to learn
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Analytical and problem solving ability
• Valid driver's license (advantageous)

Appointment into the Graduate Placement Programme is subject to SETA approval. Applicants are required to submit a certified copy of their qualification as well as proof of unemployment at the time of application.
