Luxury Private Game Reserve Grahamstown

Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and highly organised Front of House Manager for a luxury private game reserve based in Grahamstown. This live-in position is ideal for a hospitality professional who thrives in a dynamic bush environment and is confident managing both guest-facing operations and logistical coordination.

• Oversee all reception operations, including guest check-in and check-out processes
• Manage safari shop operations, including sales, stock control and guest retail experience
• Coordinate reception logistics, including guest movements and transport arrangements
• Ensure smooth daily operational flow across all front-of-house functions
• Liaise closely with lodge teams to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Assist in coordinating safari schedules and guest activities
• Provide relief support at lodges when required, including shift coverage
• Maintain high standards of guest service and hospitality delivery
• Handle guest queries, requests and concerns professionally and efficiently
• Support overall operational efficiency across front-of-house departments

• Previous experience in front of house, reception or hospitality management
• Experience within a lodge or safari environment advantageous
• Strong organisational and logistical coordination skills
• Experience in guest relations within a luxury setting preferred
• Ability to manage multiple operational areas simultaneously
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible and willing to work shifts, including lodge relief duties
• Professional, well-presented and guest-focused approach
• Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail
