Tasks- Read and interpret engineering drawings to understand specifications and requirements for the parts we need to fit and turn.
- Operate a variety of machine tools and equipment to cut, shape, and assemble metal components with precision.
- Perform regular maintenance checks on machinery to ensure everything's running smoothly and safely.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and come up with efficient solutions when things don't go as planned.
- Keep accurate records of work completed, including any modifications made, to ensure everything is documented for future reference.
- Proven experience as a Fitter & Turner in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
