Job Description

This is a senior Finance Manager role for someone who enjoys complexity, variety, and being close to the business, not tucked away in a back office.

The client is a leading independent power producer operating across Africa, with South Africa at the centre of its growth strategy. The local team manages a portfolio of operational renewable energy assets, with new projects continuously coming online.This role sits at the heart of that operation.

The oppportunity

Reporting to the Finance Director, you'll take full responsibility for the finance function across a portfolio of operational project companies.

Your scope will include:

  • Full financial management and reporting across multiple SPVs
  • Month-end, statutory reporting, audits and IFRS compliance
  • Cash flow management, treasury, lender reporting and covenant compliance
  • Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling support
  • Acting as a finance business partner to operations and senior stakeholders
  • Managing and supporting a small, capable finance team

This is a hands-on FM role in a fast-moving, asset-intensive environment, ideal for someone who enjoys juggling priorities and making sense of complexity.
