We are urgently seeking an experienced Factory Manager responsible for overseeing daily operations in a sheet metal manufacturing environment, ensuring efficient production flow, high-quality output, and on-time delivery to the next stage of manufacturing. The role focuses on productivity, machine uptime, and workforce performance in a fast-paced factory setting. This role is located in Gauteng.
Key Operations- Laser cutting and laser punch combination.
- Press brake bending.
- Pressed-in inserts (Knocking Department).
- Guillotining.
- Materials include mild steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, brass, and galvanized sheet.
- Manage end-to-end production flow across all departments.
- Ensure efficient use of machines, labor, and production time.
- Plan, schedule, and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
- Identify and resolve production bottlenecks.
- Supervise factory departments through a Factory Supervisor.
- Ensure machinery is maintained, calibrated, and operating accurately.
- Implement and monitor preventative maintenance schedules.
