EXPERIENCED CODE 10 DRIVER WITH PDP (CPT BRANCH)

Duties and responsibilities including but not limited to:

• To perform scheduled pick-ups and deliveries as instructed.
• Ensure that all payload on route is safely loaded and that all measures will be taken to ensure no stock losses occur.
• To ensure the company vehicle is maintained and in proper running order.
• Keeping the company vehicle clean and neat at all times.
• Complete daily vehicle checks, log sheets and driver health check diligently and correctly.
• To check and sign that all stock being loaded per delivery is correct and corresponds with the pick ticket and delivery note.
• Responsible for fuelling the truck and submitting tickets for purchase of such fuel to the supervisor.
• Assist the storeman/ supervisor with inventory as directed.
• Attend and successfully complete all necessary staff orientation and training functions.
• Sales, customer service responsibilities, will be required to do sales and deal with customers and identify opportunities.
• Adhere to all Health and Safety protocols implemented by the company at all times.
• Report all incidents immediately to the office and complete an Incident Report form timeously.
• Assist the storeman / supervisor with inventory as directed in the store.

MUST RESIDE IN CAPE TOWN Near Belville area

QUALIFICATIONS
Matric certificate (Grade 12)

Valid Dangerous Goods Certificate (Hazchem)
Roughly 5 years driving experience.

Valid Drivers License - Code 10 with PrDP

Sales and dealing with customers experience a plus

Market Related (Depending on experience)
