Since 2009, Zombie Walk has grown into Cape Town's premier Halloween experience, drawing thousands of fans. To keep that growth going, we need a high-energy "Street Team" to spread the word. We value creativity, community spirit, and people who aren't afraid to stand out in a crowd.
The RoleYou will be the face of the Zombie Walk. This role is a blend of Marketing and Public Relations. Your goal is to get people excited, answer questions, and drive ticket registrations. You won't be sitting behind a desk; you'll be out in the city making sure everyone knows the zombies are coming.
Key Responsibilities- Community Engagement: Represent the brand at local hotspots, campuses, and malls.
- Marketing Support: Distribute flyers and help install promotional posters.
- Content Creation: Capture "man-on-the-street" photos and videos for our social team.
- Flex Role: On event day, shift from promoter to crowd management or registration support.
- Experience: Previous experience in promotion, sales, or brand ambassador roles is preferred.
- Skills: Strong communicator who can engage people easily and professionally.
- Personality: High energy, outgoing, and a genuine fan of the Halloween season.
Location: Cape Town
Employment Type: Contract
Salary: R100 per hour + performance incentives
