Job Description

To lead the Electrical team in the execution of all maintenance related tasks, on time, safely and at minimal cost. Manage an Electrical team and control quality of workmanship, processes and systems in order to achieve maximum equipment performance and minimal wastage.

  • Maintain and optimise plant performance
  • Ensure the quality and integrity of plant maintenance
  • Maintain a safe, healthy and risk free working environment
  • Lead the team
  • Fulfil SHEQ requirements
Qualifications
  • Minimum of a National Technical Diploma or National Diploma (NQF 6) in Engineering
  • Sound knowledge of electrical control components
  • Knowledge of AC/DC Drives
  • Knowledge of HT and LT switching
  • Knowledge of electrical legal requirements as contained in the OHS act
  • Must have at least 5 years' experience in FMCG or equivalent business
  • Maintenance and technical support
