Job Description

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Earthmoving Mechanic to join the Johannesburg team.

  • Diagnose and repair equipment including diesel engines, power trains, and hydraulic systems troubleshooting
  • Conduct disassembly for major repairs and perform routine maintenance, preventative tasks and equipment testing
  • Analyse and diagnose customer equipment problems
  • Carry out machine PDI requirements and any workshop job specifics
  • Ensure operational compliance with manufacturers standards and safety regulations
  • Perform equipment inspections during maintenance services and reporting technical and safety concerns
  • Ensure cleanliness and maintenance of the workshop
  • Organize tools and equipment
  • Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance
Requirements
  • Grade 12
  • Earthmoving Mechanic / Diesel Mechanic Trade Test
  • Minimum 3 - 5 years' experience in the earthmoving industry
  • Experience with Excavators, Loaders and ADT's
  • Hydraulic systems knowledge and experience
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Valid drivers license
  • Must be willing to travel when needed
