Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven analytics solutions to optimize vessel performance, fuel efficiency and operational decision-making.
  
• Analyze large-scale maritime datasets (voyage data, AIS, engine performance, weather, bunker consumption) to generate actionable insights.
  
• Develop predictive models and machine learning algorithms for areas such as predictive maintenance, route optimization, and emissions reduction.
  
• Collaborate with fleet management, technical, and commercial teams to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions.
  
• Build and maintain data pipelines, dashboards, and visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for real-time monitoring and reporting.
  
• Ensure data quality, governance, and integrity across multiple data sources and platforms.
  
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives through advanced analytics and AI adoption across the organization.
  
• Stay updated with emerging AI, machine learning, and maritime digitalization trends to propose innovative solutions.
  
• Work closely with IT and external vendors to integrate AI solutions into existing enterprise systems and platforms.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in data analytics, with at least 2-3 years in AI/ML-related roles, preferably in logistics.
  
• Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
  
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  
• Strong analytical thinking, stakeholder management skills, and ability to translate complex data into business insights.
