Remedy is currently hiring reliable and confident Cover Supervisors for secondary schools across East London. This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced Cover Supervisors looking to work in education on a day to day basis.

Job Overview:
As a Cover Supervisor, you will supervise classes during teacher absences and ensure students remain focused on pre-prepared work. A successful Cover Supervisor must be confident managing classroom behaviour and maintaining a productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students in the absence of the class teacher.
  • Ensure students complete assigned work set by the teacher.
  • Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
  • Report any issues or concerns to senior staff.
  • Support students with questions and encourage engagement.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Cover Supervisor or in a similar role is desirable.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A positive attitude and professional presence.
