Corporate Gifting Administrator
Job Description
This is an entry-level internal sales role within the corporate gifting division, focused on generating new business and supporting internal sales functions.
ResponsibilitiesNew Business Development (70%)
- Cold call new clients (resellers and distributors) from an existing database
- Introduce SMD, our brands, products, and categories
- Provide suitable sales solutions and convert prospects into registered resellers
- Set up external meetings, showroom visits, or product tours with potential clients
- Maintain and update the CRM/database with call activity, feedback, progress, and next steps
Sales Support & Administration (30%)
- Assist with internal sales processes and administration
- Raise quotes and process orders on the SMD system
- Prepare and send presentations to clients
- Follow up on quotes and orders to ensure conversion
- Matric (minimum qualification)
- No formal tertiary qualification required but advantageous
- Experience in cold calling within a B2B environment (adaptive, not scripted)
- Basic to intermediate admin and Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills
- Good command of English (additional languages advantageous)
- Confident, proactive, and target-oriented
