Contracts Manager (Civil Infrastructure)

Rapidly growing construction firm specializing in large-scale residential and commercial property developments. We pride ourselves on delivering robust, high-quality infrastructure that forms the backbone of new communities. We are seeking an experienced, hands on Senior Site Agent to take full operational control of major civil packages.

Experience: Minimum 8 years of proven experience as a Site Agent or Senior Foreman managing bulk civil infrastructure projects.
Specialized Expertise: Non negotiable, demonstrable experience in the installation and commissioning of Water, Sewer, and Stormwater reticulation systems.
Technical Knowledge: Thorough understanding of surveying principles, bulk earthworks cut and fill, and civil contract documents (e.g., GCC, NEC).
Certifications: Valid driver's license and relevant safety certifications (e.g., First Aid, HSE Management).
Required Qualifications- Education: A Bachelor's Degree/National Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
Roads and Earthworks: Oversee the entire road construction process, including layer works, compaction testing, and final surfacing, ensuring compliance with specified engineering standards.
Stormwater & Drainage: Manage the installation of comprehensive stormwater management systems, including piping, catch basins, attenuation ponds, and headwalls.
Sewer Reticulation: Supervise the installation of gravity and pressure sewer mains, ensuring correct gradients, deep trench shoring, and manhole construction.
Water Reticulation: Direct the installation and testing of potable water mains and service connections, including valving, hydrants, and pressure testing in accordance with municipal standards.
Safety and Quality Control (HSE/QC): Implement and enforce rigorous Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, and establish strict Quality Control (QC) checks for all works, ensuring zero re work culture.
Programme Management: Develop, monitor, and adjust the detailed site programme to ensure key milestones are met on time and within the allocated budget.
Team and Subcontractor Management: Lead, mentor, and manage site engineers, foremen, and specialist utility subcontractors to maintain productivity and quality output.
Professional Registration- Not Required but it is an added advantage
