Job Description
Food manufacturing company in Mpumalanga Province requires Refrigeration Foreman with Matric / Grade 12, CAT B certificate and 6years experience in the management of ammonia refrigeration plant (essential).
You will work day-shift and responsible for the management of approximately 10 people on 4 shift-pattern; you will be on standby to assist artisans (as and when required)
Duties & Responsibilities- Management of the maintenance and repairs of the refrigeration plant and equipment (mechanical and electrical).
- Conducting routine inspections and servicing of maintenance and safety systems
- Implementing and managing the preventative maintenance plan.
- Manage workshop and tools.
- Manage the maintenance budget and ensure that all cost is within the budget.
- Maintain the cold room temperature protocols and the supervision of the temperature monitoring team
- Maintaining and conducting general maintenance.
- Housekeeping and managing of safety standards within department according to the OHS Act, relevant legislation, and codes.
